About the event

The performance SLIP GRIP by the choreographer Jitka Sara Páníková and the composer Natálie Pleváková is a ride on the edge. Literally.

The performer puts on roller skates, which she does not know how to use. A body that has spent its entire life striving for perfect control suddenly finds itself on unfamiliar ground. It balances, reacts. It questions its habits. A space is created where sincerity replaces precision, and where the ride begins just where certainty ends.

Instead of certainty, the search for balance. Instead of performance – presence.

Fragility meets determination on stage. It's not about falling, but about trusting what will happen when there is nothing left to hold on to. For introverts in a noisy world, for anyone who has ever found themselves out of rhythm and yet continued to dance through the world.

And if you're waiting for instructions on how to get out of it, SLIP GRIP won't provide any. Just the ride. Unpredictable, unpolished – and perhaps liberating precisely because of that.

What if it's precisely when we lose control that we really start to ride?
