Dance Well

We are developing the Dance Well project as a community platform for people living with Parkinson’s disease and other mobility limitations. Through dance, we promote physical vitality, social interaction, and active participation in cultural and social life.

The project draws on international experience and the sharing of best practices. It brings new inspiration and job opportunities to professional artists, while clearly highlighting the benefits of dance for the quality of life of both individuals and society. The key goal is to promote inclusion and strengthen the sense of belonging among the target group.

Regular classes under the DanceConnected label have been running every Tuesday morning since September 2025 at various venues in Prague. Our home base is KC Vozovna; we also collaborate with the National Gallery in Prague and the Rudolfinum Gallery, and we continue to develop further partnerships.

In addition to regular classes, we also come together through performances, projects, and shared experiences. In the fall of 2025, we organized a series of special classes in Prague and throughout the regions. Together with the community, we successfully staged the participatory performance Jáma lvová UNLIMITED in collaboration with the POCKETART collective and the durational performance UNESENÍ in collaboration with choreographer Jaro Viňarský.

The Dance Well project has been part of DanceConnected since August 2025.
