About us
We are DanceConnected—an independent production collective that views dance as a living language connecting people, disciplines, and everyday situations. We believe in its ability to create space for sharing, dialogue, and transformation. We don’t look for boundaries, but for possibilities.
We are an open platform for children, adults, individuals, and groups—for every body that wants to move. Our goal is to engage diverse communities, promote inclusion, and bring new energy to the cultural scene.
Why do we do it
DanceConnected was founded in late 2023 out of a need to support a vibrant, open, and sustainable dance scene. We initiate projects that are attuned to place, time, and communities—both locally and in an international context. We create space for innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and connecting independent artists with the public.
We see dance as a tool for reflecting on the contemporary world and as a way of being together—here and now.
How we work
We draw on the many years of experience our team members have in the fields of dance, production, project management, and community work. We develop projects with long-term impact and are building DanceConnected as a reliable partner for socially beneficial initiatives.
We strive for active engagement in European dance and educational networks and for creating conditions for a sustainable future for dance and the performing arts—artistically, socially, and institutionally.
