What
We are a body in motion. We are a meeting. We are DanceConnected – a new independent production collective that brings the energy of contemporary dance and the power of connection to the Galaxy.
We see dance as a language that connects people, disciplines, and everyday situations. We believe in its ability to open up space for sharing, dialogue, and transformation. We don't look for boundaries, but for possibilities.
Why
DanceConnected was founded at the end of 2023 out of a desire to support a vibrant and open dance scene. We initiate projects that listen to place, time and communities - at home and abroad. We open up space for innovation, interdisciplinary and international cooperation and connecting independent creators with the public. We understand dance as a means of reflection and common existence.
How
As a de facto newly emerging entity, DanceConnected seeks to leverage the team members' rich experience in the field of dance. It aims to build a position as a partner of socially beneficial projects, be part of European dance and educational networks, and contribute to building a sustainable future for dance and performing arts through its activities.
