CreWcollective: Waist deep #25

Po pád #25 is an adventure of improvisation – a space for spontaneity, uniqueness and the unrepeatability of the present moment. The series of improvisational evenings was created in collaboration with CreWcollective and Studio ALTA and this time will take place in collaboration with DanceConnected at the Galaxie Cultural Station.

Artists from different fields who have not collaborated for more than a year come together on stage. Together they compose an improvised performance in real time, the form of which is created right before the eyes of the audience. No one knows in advance what will happen - neither the performer nor the viewer. Everyone is in it up to their waists .

The evening consists of two to three improvisational entries lasting 20 to 30 minutes. The combination of performers is chosen by the audience by lot just before the start. Those present thus become an active part of the event - they can bring ideas and influence the direction of the emerging composition.

Mish Rais and Jana Novorytová from the group Částečné znejistění (Partial Uncertainty) have been collaborating since 2014. Together, they have created four original performances focused on participation, language, and immediate composition, and have dozens of performances under their belt—from apartment events to site-specific projects. They have long been exploring ways to develop body awareness, presence, and creative movement. They also perform in works by Czech and foreign artists, and as co-directors of the CreWcollective group, they are involved in pedagogical and artistic research in the field of performing arts.
