About the event
“Places Between Us” is a pilgrimage through the urban ecosystem that beats at an accelerated pace and does not allow us to breathe. “Places Between Us” are intersections, stops and transfer stations that for a moment turn into an ocean of possibilities, where time flows like jellyfish drifting in the ocean currents. “Places Between Us” is a way to relax and transform everyday places into a sensory experience. “Places Between Us” invites you to slow down and perceive the present moment through movement that gently enters the space and opens it to new sensibilities and imagination.
The project represents an original and innovative form of contemporary movement art in public space. It is based on the research of choreographer Natália Vacková and is methodologically inspired by the Body Weather method by Mina Tanaka, which is based on the dialogue of the body with the environment. "Places between us" are created directly for specific locations, into which they enter gently, without disrupting their normal operation.
