Time & Location

About the event
Embark on a journey to a land inhabited by wondrous creatures, where humor, closeness, and difference create their own rules for coexistence.
The production Scapes of Landscape invites you into a world of fantastical creatures living their mysterious and poetic lives. The international movement theatre collective tYhle works with original masks and physical theatre, opening up space for imagination, playfulness, and mutual understanding.
The creators draw loose inspiration from the archetypal motif of a journey, during which the traveller encounters unknown beings and gradually discovers their way of being. The performance explores the coexistence of different forms of life and sensitively addresses themes of closeness, difference, and the shared experience of the world.
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. with an interactive prologue. Through materials, space, and the landscape of imaginary creatures, the audience will be sensorially introduced to the world of the performance. The performance itself will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will last approximately one hour. After it ends, visitors will be able to return to the introductory installation. The entire event will last a maximum of two hours and will end no later than 12:00 p.m.

tYhle is an international collective of artists who combine performance art, dance, physical theatre, clowning, and other art forms in their work. They focus on experimenting with imagination, everyday life, humour, identity, and society.
The creative team of Scapes of Landscape project was created in connection with earlier research and movement workshops with masks, led by Lukáš Karásek. The team created the production collectively. All members participated in the creation of the masks, and then the artist Magdalena Vrábová made their final form.
Currently, the team is focusing on making the production accessible and inclusive – at the Feet Forward festival, it is an adaptation for blind and low-vision spectators.
