About the event
Immerse yourself in the magical world of animals, where movement, light and sound come to life, creating a fantasy carnival in which you can actively participate.
The production combines movement and dance with video projection, original music, sounds and, above all, the play of light and shadow, silence and stillness. The creators draw inspiration from the diverse animal kingdom – they go underground, fly into the sky, dive into the depths and get lost in the grass. Children, who are present on stage from beginning to end, together with the performers create ever new, strange animal creatures. Come and immerse yourself with us in the world of great animal fantasy! The production is also accessible to deaf audiences and the performance is followed by an artistic reflection. Carnival of Animals won the Audience Award and the Lighting Design Award at the Czech Dance Platform 2014. Since its premiere in 2013, it has been successfully touring the Czech Republic and abroad.
Recommended age for children: 5–11 years; also suitable for the deaf
Performance duration: 50 min + 10 min artistic reflection
