Temporary Collective: SILENT

SILENT is a thirty-five-minute sound performance for a group of spectators in a public space, during which the body and mind receive movement instructions. The first audio begins with one voice, followed by another, and together they create a series of voices that connect in a unified landscape of thoughts and movement.

SILENT responds to the Covid-19 pandemic, its impact on public space, closed borders and the impossibility of travel, the exposed vulnerability of our bodies. How do we, as individuals, connect with each other in such a world? What does the body remember and what does it no longer remember? Can we create new bonds? Can we experience closeness in such a world? How have our bodies changed during this time? The body in the main role - in the space between solitude and sharing. Explore a new experience with us! The performance takes place with headphones, which will be ready for each viewer to borrow on site. The project follows up on other activities of the international research project DANCING MUSEUMS, of which SILENT is a part.
