How to dance with someone who has left? Can you bring them back through dance?
Can their absence bring you back to yourself?
How to overcome loss—of a loved one, an ideal, or a vision of the future?
And what does loss mean on a cosmic scale? The loss of light that has traveled toward us for millions of years. The loss of a future that fell apart before it could even begin.
This sixteen-minute dance performance in the Galaxie foyer is presented by DanceConnected, Dejvické divadlo, and Temporary Collective in collaboration to celebrate International Dance Day. You can look forward to it before the start of Dejvické divadlo’s production of Služebnictvo.
