About the event
A taxon refers to a group of specific organisms that share certain common characteristics. This new “taxon” explores whether it is better to learn to live with a new body or to get rid of it. His mutating body, which is still learning to move, does not yet know its possibilities. We follow the process of transformation – as if the body were being rewritten according to the principle of open-source code.
The new creature is locked within the limits of its own development and slowly adopts the prostheses that "nature" has provided it with. For now, it can only touch the vertical.
Taxon was originally created for the Movere exhibition at the GAMU gallery in 2016. A few years later, it was further developed for various venues with other performers such as the series Taxon one, Taxon two, Taxon three , etc.
